about this outrageous man                            어떻게 조치하라는 요구가  
became louder and louder.                             더욱 더 커져갔죠.

"This man"s just got to go!"                           "이 놈을 없애야만 돼!"
declared his enemies                                     그의 적들이 선언했지만,

But the ladies begged                                    귀부인들은  빌었죠.
"Don"t you try to do it, please"                        "그러지 마세요, 제발"하고 .

No doubt this Rasputin                                    의심할 것 없이 이 라스푸틴은
had lots of hidden charms                               숨겨진 많은 매력을 지녔답니다.
(여)

Though he was a brute                                   비록 그는 짐승같은 자였지만
they just fell into his arms                              그 귀부인들은 그의 팔 속으로 빠져들었죠.
 Then one night                                             그런데, 어느 날 밤,

some men of higher standing                          몇몇 고위층 사람들이
Set a trap, they 're not to blame                     덫을 놓고, 책임지지 않으려고,
"Come to visit us"                                         "이리 와 우리를 방문해 주시오"라고
they kept demanding                                     계속 요구했고,
And he really came                                        그는 정말 왔습니다.

They put some poison into his wine                 그들은 그의 포도주에 독을 넣었죠.
