재키는 퍼프의 커다란 꼬리에 앉아서 망을 보았습니다

해적선도 깃발을 내린답니다

Painted wings and giant rings
make way for other toys.
One grey night it happened,
Jackie Paper came no more
And Puff that mighty dragon,
he ceased his fearless roar.

색이 칠해진 날개와 거인 반지는
다른 장난감에게 자리를 비켜줬습니다
어느 어둔 밤에 그 일이 일어났습니다
재키 페이퍼는 더 이상 오지를 않았고
힘쎈 마술 퍼프 용도 거침없는
울음소리를 내지 않았습니다
His head was bent in sorrow,
green scales fell like rain,
Puff no longer went to play
along the cherry lane.
Without his life-long friend,
Puff could not be brave,
So Puff that mighty dragon sadly
slipped into his cave. Oh!
그의 머리는 슬픔으로 인해서 떨구어졌고
푸르른 비늘은 비처럼 떨어졌습니다
퍼프는 더 이상 체리나무 오솔길을
놀러가지 않았습니다
평생을 함께 했던 친구가 없이는

그래서 힘쎈 퍼프는 슬픔에 잠겨서
그의 동굴로 돌아갔습니다
