And Aubrey was her name,
A not so very ordinary girl or name.
But who`s to blame?
For a love that wouldn`t bloom
For the hearts that never played in tune.

오브리는 그녀의 이름이었습니다.
결코 흔히 볼수없는 소녀였고 이름또한 흔하지 않았지요.
하지만 한번도 피우지 못한 사랑
결코 움직여지지 않았던 마음을
누가 감히 뭐라할 수 있을까요?

Like a lovely melody that everyone can sing,
Take away the words that rhyme it doesn`t mean a thing.
어느 누구던지 부를수 있는 아름다운 멜로디 같이
형식속에 있는 말들은 지워버리세요
그런것들은 어떤 의미도 없답니다.

 

And Aubrey was her name.
We tripped the light and danced together to the moon,
But where was June.

오브리는 그녀의 이름이랍니다.
우리는 함께 달빛속을 따라 걸었고 춤을 추었지요.
하지만 그 아름답던 시절은 어디로 갔을까요?.

If it did it never made a sound,
Maybe I was absent or was listening to fast,
Catching all the words, but then the meaning going past,
아마도 그것은 결코 오지 않을겁니다
다시 사랑이 오더라도 그런 사랑은 없겠지요.
왜냐하면 내가 마음을 두지않거나 흘려버렸거나
무심결에 넘겼기 때문일 겁니다.
하지만 그런게 무슨 소용이 있을까요.이미 지나간 사랑인것을....

하지만 신이시여 전 오브리가 미치도록 그립습니다
그녀에게 가까이 갈수만 있다면 난 어떤 고난도 견더낼 수 있답니다.

I loved her name.
오브리는 그녀의 이름이랍니다.
난 그녀를 알지 못하지만 그녀의 이름마저도 사랑할만큼
그녀를 사랑했습니다.

 

Wish that I had found the way
And the reasons that would make her stay.
I have learned to lead a life apart from all the rest.
If I can`t have the one I want, I`ll do without the best.
내가 바라는것을 가질수 없다해도 그녀없이 살아가야 하기에

남겨진 모든것들을 잊어야 하겟지요

그녀를 내곁에 머물게 할 수 있었다면 얼마나 좋았을까요....
