You saw me crying in the chapel
The tears I shed were tears of joy
I know the meaning of contentment
Now I'm happy with the Lord.

제가 교회에서 우는 것을 당신은 보셨지요
제가 흘린 눈물은 기쁨의 눈물이었어요.
나는 만족이라는 말의 뜻을 깨달았어요.
이제 나는 주님과 함께 행복해요.

Just a plain and simple chapel
Where humble people come to pray
I prayed the Lord that I'll grow stronger
As I live from day to day.

소박한 사람들이 기도하러 오는
그저 평범하고 검소한 교회.
제가 하루하루 살아가는 동안
제가 더욱 강건하게 되도록 주님께 기도드렸습니다.

I've searched and I've searched.
But I couldn't find no way on earth
to gain peace of my mind.

저는 찾고 또 찾아 왔어요.
하지만 제 마음의 평화를 얻는 길을
전혀 찾을 수 없었어요.

Now I'm happy in the chapel
Where people are of one accord.
We gather in the chapel
Just to sing and praise the Lord.

사람들의 마음이 모두 하나로 일치되어있는
교회에서 저는 지금 행복해요.
주님을 찬미하고 예찬하고자
우리들은 교회에 모여요.

You'll search and you'll search

to gain peace of mind.

사람들은 찾고 또 찾겠지요
하지만 마음의 평화를 얻을 길을
결코 찾을 수 없을 거예요.

Take your troubles to the chapel

오시고 무릎꿇고 기도 드리세요.
